I can barely write my own name, so I’m always impressed by anything related to graphic design. So, while this is not something you’ll see the Hawks use this season, it’s still pretty cool to see their logo expressed in different ways. This logo is flashy, unique, and goes perfectly with the new uniforms. I’d wear it on a hat or a t-shirt, but tattooing it on my face is where I draw the line. I love the current logo, but this new twist is different while staying true to the spirit of the current logo. It even uses a black background, a nod to the road jersey. Rather than being circular like the current logo, the redesign features the Hawk face as part of an interlocking symbol that makes an “A” and an “H”. They decided to take that “Pac-Man” logo and give it a brand new look, inspired by the color scheme of the new uniforms. Graphic designer Addison Foote of has that covered. They are still fine logos, but they don’t really fit with the brand new uniforms.
